Democratic Republic of Congo plays a vital role in climate change because of its rainforest.The biggest drivers of deforestation in the Congo rainforest over the past 20 years have been small-scale subsistence agriculture, clearing for charcoal and fuelwood, urban expansion, and mining. BMA supports program mitigating deforestation while promoting conservation through education and resources that eradicate the main causes.
Humanitarian
Form man-made environmental crisis to war and political instability, people continue to experience an unprecedented misery, poverty and health challenges that BMA support program that includes healthcare resources, safe drinking water, emergency latrines, hygiene kits, and relief supplies to people affected by flooding and other unfortunate events.
